Our Story
Emma Alington is a ceramic homeware brand established in 2013. We specialise in working on artisanal bespoke projects, as well as working with brands and retailers around the world to deliver our signature product ranges.
Quality craftsmanship and an emphasis on design, beauty, and function are key to our design ethos.
We use a wide variety of clays, making our products perfectly suited for functional tableware and homeware purposes. Pieces are either made in-house in Berkshire, or we collaborate with British ceramic manufacturers who produce the larger ranges of our products.
Emma Alington products are sold worldwide, and bespoke pieces can be commissioned which make the perfect gift for any special occasion. Head to our bespoke page to find out more.
Emma Alington clients include: Fortnum & Mason, Freddie’s Flowers, Missoma, The Fat Duck, Katie Leamon, The Hinds Head, Social Pantry, A.O.K Kitchen & Bakery, Fenwick and Boots. Emma has also featured on ITV's James Martin's Saturday Morning.
About Emma
Emma is a designer, maker, and founder with over 15 years experience creating timeless, handcrafted pieces for the home and table. With a background in design and a passion for British craftsmanship, Emma has built a brand known for its personal approach and attention to detail.
Navigating life as a new mother to baby Otto, Emma balances the joys and challenges of motherhood with running her business - supported by her husband Josh (a brilliant cook and professional videographer) and their much loved dog, Herbie.
Much of her inspiration comes from home life: a shared love of food, growing vegetables, and hosting friends for summer BBQs. These everyday moments shape her design philosophy, creating pieces that are as beautiful as they are useful.
